SCANPH invites you to an interactive workshop that will provide insights and technical training on a variety of issues, including:

• Peer and auditor feedback and best practices from the implementation of the new HCD/CalHFA Audited Financial Statements Handbook

• Change of entity ownership and Year-15 accounting and financial reporting issues

• Surplus cash and distributions

• Audit efficiencies and readiness

James M. Kraft, CPA, is a senior audit partner with over 30 years of experience in working with affordable housing and tax-exempt organizations at LvHJ, a premier public accounting firm recognized for its technical expertise and distinguished services to the affordable housing and real estate community and not-for-profits throughout California since 1935.

Guest Speaker: Paul Beesemyer, Southern California Program Director, California Housing Partnership Corporation (CHPC); Former SCANPH Board Member

Paul Beesemyer spearheads the effort in assisting Southern California’s nonprofit housing community and public agencies for CHPC, a leading statewide agency in providing financial consulting, technical assistance, training and portfolio analysis for the affordable housing industry.
