Come hear what’s happening with the Affordable Care Act (ACA) from health plans, medical groups, and others who are involved with implementing these changes in Southern California:

  • Covered California – who can buy insurance from our State’s health exchange, get tax credits or subsidizes;
  • Expansion of Medi-Cal – who is eligible for Medi-Cal after January 2014;
  • Low Income Health Plan Transition;
  • The Coordinated Care Initiative (CCI): Managed Long Term Services & Supports (LTSS) and Cal MediConnect (demonstration for individuals dually eligible for Medicare and Medi-Cal).

Implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) is happening fast in California and will have a huge impact on affordable housing and health care for low-income families, children, single adults, seniors and people with disabilities.

Come and join us in a workshop to learn how you and your organization will be impacted by these upcoming changes.
